(1) After the completion of the written examination conducted by the commission, first and second marks should be placed in the answer book.
(2) Unless otherwise provided by the Commission, the responsibility of placing or causing to be placed the first mark in the answer book shall be the responsibility of the head of the relevant division in the case of the central office of the Commission and the head of the relevant office in the case of the regional and zonal offices of the Commission. However, if it is written from the Central Office that it is appropriate to hold a meeting because there is not enough manpower to hold a meeting in the regional and zonal offices of the Commission or because the necessary resources are not available, the head of the relevant division of the central office may hold or order to hold the first meeting in such an answer book. (3) After putting the first mark in the answer book, the second mark will be put by the authorized staff appointed by the Secretary of the Commission.
(4) The sealing of the first mark in the answer book will be done by the Secretary of the Commission or the staff appointed by him and the sealing of the second mark will be done by the Chairman of the Commission or the staff of the Commission appointed by him.
(5) After a written request from the concerned branch to publish the results of the written examination, the sealed copy of Ardhakatti should be provided to the concerned branch.
